Job Description – Senior Accountant (SAP FICO)
Position:Senior Accountant
Experience:4–5 Years
Location:Kochi, Kerala
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
* Handle accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records in SAP FICO.
* Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and financial statements.
* Perform bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
* Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely settlements.
* Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports as required by management.
* Ensure proper accounting treatment and documentation of financial transactions.
* Support GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
* Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, auditors, and statutory authorities when required.
* Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and SAP-related issues.
* Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable statutory requirements.
